About Us

Legacy Empowerment CDC (LECDC) is a faith-rooted, purpose-driven community development corporation committed to transforming lives through education, empowerment, and equity.

At the heart of our work is a bold mission: to empower at-risk youth and young adults through education, mentorship, and community support, fostering a foundation for a prosperous future grounded in faith and resilience.

We believe that when individuals are equipped with the right tools, resources, and relationships, they can rise above their circumstances and thrive. Our vision is to see generations of empowered leaders who have overcome barriers and now stand as changemakers in their communities.

LECDC focuses on serving those who are often overlooked—youth ages 16–24, single mothers, foster care alumni, and those impacted by the juvenile justice system. Through targeted programming and wraparound services, we support educational advancement, life skills development, job training, housing stability, and holistic family support.
